BDCPC is a platform of collaborating scientists, policy makers, environmentalists, educationists and local peoples whose key objective is linking conservation with the economic and health needs of the local population and especially for those living in the tropics.
It was registered in Cameroon on 14th October 1994. The global objective being sustainable development for improved livelihoods and biodiversity management and conservation.
